People talk about mental illness in terms of depression or psychosis or violence but please don’t forget the “high functioning” mentally ills who are hyperproductive because their brain tells them if they don’t adhere to a rigid and punishing schedule they will literally die

Once emotional safety became a bare minimum for me, it threw me right into solitude. Most people aren’t emotionally safe. Most people are in survival mode and unfortunately, they don’t have the capacity to be a safe space for anyone because they’re not a true safe space for themselves.

I am torn between two worlds. On one hand I am a doctor, I study science I have to see reality, I see data analysis and stuff on the other hand I love to read classics, fiction, write, watch movies and that world is completely different from this world.
