There’s no money to make healthcare free or more affordable, but there’s money to give $40B to Argentina, $350M for a trashy ballroom, $172M on private jets, millions of dollars for golf trips and lavish dinners and $12B to pay back “farmers” (creditors). Funny how that works.

Way to go Miami!!!!
Who’s next?
The Democrat in Miami just defeated the Republican ICE cheerleader for mayor. Turns out even in Florida, people are tired of cruelty masquerading as leadership. Republicans had held this seat for the last three decades. Let that…sink in.

And even if you're right, the punishment for drug smuggling isn't death.
Rand Paul: "This is an insane policy. It's inconsistent. It's not war. It's not the way we've ever done this. If we can blow up a boat in the ocean, what about when they get to Miami & put it in a truck? Can you shoot a grenade launcher at the truck? No! We arrest people b/c sometimes we're wrong."

Could the failure to extend the subsidies along with the cut in Medicaid/ Medicare initial a HC death spiral?
If health insurance tax credits expire this month, millions of Americans will face skyrocketing premiums. Some will take second jobs and credit card debt, while others will drop coverage altogether and go without care.

We are fighting to stop this from happening.

Trainwreck? In October 2024, The Economist called Biden's economy "the envy of the world."
BARTIROMO: What are you expecting the president's economic message to be?

SEN. McCORMICK: I think the message is that we inherited a trainwreck from the Biden administration and we made a lot of progress

Gerrymandering is bad because it skews the actions of the national Congress. It's also bad, separate and above that skew, because it deprives voters of effective representation.

It's worth being clear about what this means on the ground:

1️⃣Nashville's population is almost exactly the same as the average US Congressional district

2️⃣In 2024, they cast just 34% of their ballots for Republican Congressional candidates

3️⃣And they are represented only by Republicans in Congress
If you ever wondered what GOP gerrymandering looks like in red states with blue cities, I present:

Striking a boat full of unarmed civilians is murder. The first strike was murder. The followup strike was also murder.

We're not at war. It's not a "war crime". Everyone involved, including the POTUS, SecDef, the Admiral who relayed it and the person who pressed the button needs to be on trial.

4. Lying; or

4. All three. 🎯

Trump pardoned a properly convicted drug kingpin from Honduras & wants us to think he cares about drugs coming into this country. Give me a break!
This is ridiculous. It was the first TRUMP admin which developed the cases against President Hernandez. His brother Tony Hernandez was indicted in 2018 and convicted in 2019, and key ally Geovanny Fuentes Ramirez was indicted in 2020.

Both were later sentenced to life in prison!
Leavitt: "The people of Honduras have highlighted to him how the former President Hernandez was set up. This was a clear Biden over prosecution."

Trump also pardoned the drug trafficker who was convicted of trying to bring in 400 TONS of cocaine & was sentenced by US jury to 45 years. So much for caring about holding the drug kingpins accountable.

Amen!
Defending democracy is to protect the right of every person! It’s refusing to hand our future to authoritarians who want obedience instead of freedom, chaos instead of accountability.

They want us divided, discouraged and silent.
We will give them unity, defiance, and a hell of a lot of noise!
