We've got to stop behaving as if we're not responsible for one other. Eradicate from your mind expressions like, "I don't owe you anything.""They/she/he doesn't owe you anything." That "owe" is thinking of us in terms of transactions as if our value is only important in terms of profit & loss.

It's sociology 101. There were these videos I used to show in class where people would literally ignore actors paid to pass out in a crowd who looked "shabbily dressed". People IMMEDIATELY responded when a paid actor in suit passed out.

This again speaks back to the brilliance behind the Civil Rights Marchers marching in their Sunday best.

Because study after study has shown that society demands people in suits be treated better than people dressed poorly.

So when they see cruelty enacted upon them, they instantly get outraged.
