The one positive thing to come out of the last five years of Auburn football is the realization that none of my little superstitions make a single bit of difference. It’s freeing to know I can wear whatever I want and do whatever I want on game day without messing up the mojo.

A pleasant find among the second-hand shop today after working out at the North Philly Y. Found a still-sealed copy of a Deutsche Grammophon pressing of Josef Strauss music performed by the Berlin Philharmonic under the baton of Herbert von Karajan.
What a joy it was to play it for the first time.

That was the first Iron Bowl I attended. It was amazing.
1982 - Auburn held a slim 14-13 lead over Alabama at halftime.
After trailing 22-14 after three quarters, Auburn battled back with freshman Bo Jackson leading the way.
On 4th and 1, Bo Over The Top grabbed Pat Dye his first win over Alabama.
