My friend Niall loves small British bikes. He’s had this BSA twin for over 30 years and constantly changes things. This is its latest incarnation after its winter rebuild.
If he ever told me what model it started out as I’ve long forgotten. It’s just “Niall’s Beezer”.

Electric shower been playing up so called someone out to look at it. Explained what the problem was and he stepped into the shower cabinet, took out a screwdriver and started to take it apart.
"Eh, do you want me to turn the electricity off?"
"Yeah, that might be a good idea", he says 🤦♂️

Ancient Roman altars to go on display in a special National Museum exhibition in Edinburgh. The altars were used by soldiers worshipping the god Mithras almost 2,000 years ago in a temple at the northern frontier of the Roman empire.

Dug out this bottle for tonight’s Super Bowl. I have a number of ‘limited edition’ bottles, but hadn’t come across this one before. A Christmas gift. I like the very obvious “don’t drink and drive” message on a bottle of alcohol released in collaboration with a motor racing team.

We never used the term "cake batter" when I was a kid, we said "cake mix." When I first heard cake batter, in my early 20s, I assumed someone took a slice of cake, dipped it in batter and deep fried it. As I'm Scottish I don't think this is completely unreasonable.
