I’m not much for writing political songs. I often end up feeling like they’re pale imitations of songwriters I admire. But as I scrolled and stewed, silence became a greater offense than imperfection.

Last time I was in Montana I played in Bozeman with Jimbo and we stayed on a 19 year old barista’s couch, then saw crazy weather the next day. This time, I’m playing a festival with Ricky Scaggs. Big thumbs up to Montana.
