I just remembered one time when I saw someone say "We should be allowed to type out the N-slur regardless of our race, because how are people supposed to know what the N-slur is if no one ever says it?"

And I'm here, like. What world do you live in where people can completely avoid that slur?!

i think as a rule in video games if you see an old photo instead of it being in black and white it should be in N64 graphics

Reminds me of this funny ad for FFXV Pocket Edition which used chibi graphics

That said, I don't play anything but Pokemon Masters now, because my fave gacha game - one where you could pull regularly because they were THAT generous - died and I realised "Hey, actually I don't like that live service means I can lose everything I paid for???"

I play Pokemas out of spite.

Yeah that's a very good thing to know about yourself! I've had a few games where I've seen that's a major factor for me, too. Like where a character can't be useful unless you merge multiple copies? Like a weapon or equip I could ignore, but a character? I'd be doomed.

Unironically: Look into FL-41 lenses. I got mine last week and they are a godsend for light sensitivity.

The average industry vet doesn't full comprehend how much people will spend in a F2P game. Let alone the average gamer, average person, average lawmaker.

If you showed some people their total spend in a F2P game they themselves wouldn't believe it. Its all based on impulse, same as gambling.

I don’t let myself spend any money on gacha. Like I’ll buy an occasional guaranteed permanent thing like extra inventory, but never gacha currency. I started using money that wasn’t mine once and needed my friend’s help to quit that game cold turkey.
