The average industry vet doesn't full comprehend how much people will spend in a F2P game. Let alone the average gamer, average person, average lawmaker.

If you showed some people their total spend in a F2P game they themselves wouldn't believe it. Its all based on impulse, same as gambling.
Glad we still have dishonored, deus ex, and metal gear solid for good ol' non political stealth action games
#316 Dishonored definitive edition - got the platinum in about 24 hours while the game was still fresh in my head from doing it on ps3.

Really appreciate a solid stealth action game that doesn't get political. Just a story about good guys getting corrupted as soon as they got a tiny bit of power
#315 - XCOM Enemy Unknown - I love this series so much! Tactical Sci-fi RPG with base management are so many of my favorite buzzwords lol. Easily my favorite Strategy RPG series, above FF tactics and Fire Emblem. I'm gonna try to complete all 5 games (this is my 3rd)

9.25/10 (it's buggy)
#314 Dishonored - I had a grudge against this game for about 12 years because I failed the no kill trophy despite not killing anyone. Went back and finished the platinum in 2 days lol.

Really great game honestly, I should finally play the second one. 8.5/10

A landlord turned off Tenant Client's family's heat upon learning Client was an immigrant.

Landlord hired three different law firms to argue this was legal, then fired each one after they couldn't get our case dismissed.

This week, landlord settled for enough that Client will buy a house.
Tell me something that brought you joy this week.

Any old thing will do. Small joys are as good as big ones—sometimes even better.
It is the game where I got my first trophy though, feels good to finally finish it off. I've now platinumed every sucker punch game until ghost of yotei comes out
#313 InFamous. I'm a pretty big fan of sucker punch between sly Cooper, infamous, and ghost of tsushima, but InFamous 1 fucking sucks. It has the brown and Grey aesthetic of the ps3 era, the mission design is more frustrating than fun, and unmarked collectibles suck ass. 6/10
#312 Bluey (again) - it was not better or worse the second time I played through it.
Ratchet and Clank Size Matters - the worst of the good ratchet and clank games. You can tell it's missing the sauce that the insomniac devs have, but it's honestly a pretty good effort from a small studio. And you can tell it was made by fans of the franchise. 7.5-8/10
#310 South Park the fractured but whole - This was definitely a downgrade from the first game in a lot of ways. I didn't find the abilities as interesting as the first game, and the 5 second cutscene for all puzzle abilities got really annoying by the end. 7/10
#309 Bluey The videogame - I've never watched an episode of Bluey, but this is free on ps+ and a 2 hour platinum dontjudgeme.

I do genuinely think it's a functional game, and a good recommendation for kids.
I forgot to post games for a bit,

#308 Death Stranding - I'm glad I finally played through this, it was a lot of fun with a surprisingly fun gameplay loop. You can definitely see how Kojima went from MGSV to this, with how many menus and text everywhere there is
Going off the time stamps it looks like you had a Pringle can ready, he was destined for the can ✨

[worst possible stuff happening everywhere] man why do I feel bad
Hello, I don't see you on my banlist? So you shouldn't have any problems commenting.

The last comment I have from you is "I see Pokemon and I'm like Oooo, then I see Balatro, and I'm like Eww..." which isnt very kind
Marvel trying to market the post-endgame avengers:
looks like a new team for better and for worse
Was my game of the year when it came out!

It's so much fun and honestly very well designed. It's crazy impressive that every character felt meaningfully different to play too I honestly don't think it was marketed well enough, and I'm so upset we'll never get another one
#307 Yakuza 0! This game got me into the series, and playing it again after playing them all is such a treat. It holds up incredibly well minus the saving, so I'm stoked to get into the definitive edition now.
Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection #306 - The gameplay loop holds up surprisingly well. The campaign for the second game was ambitious, but kinda sucked. Overall both games are still a lot of fun. 8/10
I'll give credit to the music, the primal themes and find the flame are bangers. Soken doesn't miss lol
My main gripe is that it moves very slow to tell the "break your fate" story. The game spends so much time stewing in misery and bigotry, and the only reason that changes is that the world is on the brink of ending. Which is pretty tread ground for RPGs. I didn't think the story payoff was worth it
I feel like an RPG from the 2000s would have wrapped the "Slavery is bad" arc up in like 3 hours. At a certain point it felt intellectually offensive for how long they stayed on it.

Completely agree that the premise is super cool and they just didn't really do anything interesting with it
