I do find it interesting how many people, critics included, have been yelling about how sexless media is nowadays, and the one time we finally get some hot queer sex all of a sudden here cime the calls for chaste kisses and longing glances.
I do not know the books from Adam but I was pleasantly shocked at how quickly and explicitly it got horny as hell. I guarantee this criticism wouldn’t be happening if it was a straight romance.

I think we also need to contend with the reality that some people have not been good parents who encouraged curiosity and diligence and persevering through discomfort for the reward of knowledge and increased ability or for understanding the sometimes negative results of failing to do something.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

I had a thought. I've been questioned many times, why I put Trinidadian dialect in my novella that is set centuries in the future.
The main refrain was, wouldn't that have been phased out?
And my thought was...would ppl make the same comment if I had used latin? or something latin sounding?
