I'm reminded of that time I turned up to a writing course at university with nothing written and peeled off some multi page manifesto explaining PJ Harvey lyrics before the deadline at the end of the class. Unfortunately 1997 was the worst, so no one identified this extremely eggy behavior.

People have renovated the WH over time, in a vacuum that wouldn't be a big deal, but in the context of 2025 it is absolutely insane. Especially considering the slash and burn they already did on the rose garden.
I suspect the next potus will have to ask Congress for funds to rebuild.
