Almost at the end of series one and you can tell they're meant to be in France because there's a bloke who keeps saying "silence" in a French accent every few minutes...
Still on my occasional Tripods rewatch, first time since childhood. The pacing is very slow on the first series, did we just used to be more patient back then. Quite enjoying it though. At least I don't have to sit through five hours of Grandstand before it like I did as a kid...
