The London Fortean Society’s The Haunted Landscape event is basically Spooky Christmas and a joy to attend each year. You can go in person at Conway Hall, or watch online, and if you’re into dark histories, strange beasts, urban legend and the downright weird, I urge you to bag a ticket.

Today marks 150 years since #AleisterCrowley 's birth.

He features in "Common Ancestor: Deception and Disappearance at Nashdell Hall" - a chapter from 'Hands Held in the Dark' (1975), a once lost treasury of the occult.

If you think Hammer was only films then you're very wrong. Hammer Productions were also extensively involved in theatre in the 40s and 50s.

I've spent this morning organising some of my collection of Hammer theatre programmes for a future project.
