Rental Family hits harder than expected. It’s small and understated, but the emotions land, and Fraser brings a soft, wounded warmth.
It isn’t flashy… just honest about loneliness, connection, and wanting to be seen. Not perfect but genuinely resonant.

When I attended via Future Class, I was seated next to an award-winning game dev. We were both on our phones. During a break a director came up to him, got in his ear, and said "seat fillers shouldn't be on their phones".

Devs were only allowed a few (I believe two) tickets per nomination before Geoff charged them. Resale tickets were in the hundreds. And we all know what happened to Future Class (if you don’t, read my piece).

The Outer Worlds 2 improves on the first with better combat, great companions and strong writing. Exploration is fun, though returning to empty areas holds it back slightly. Still a colourful, really entertaining RPG I had a lot of fun with.
