This feels like annoying cope. Elden Ring and Sekiro are former TGA winners. They both beat more "broadly palatable" games.

I occasionally see people on other platforms say that Bluesky has a "positivity problem".
Personally don't see it that way at all. I just think the disagreements come from more respectful AND more informed places. I disagree with people on here all the time. It's just not vitriolic.

One thing I appreciate about game-related discourse on BlueSky is that it's largely respectful and comes from people who've actually played the games they're championing.
That's so different from other spaces online where a lot of peoples' views just come from Youtube hater videos they've watched.

My main games outside of my Steam Deck right now are The Outer Worlds 2 and Silent Hill f. Not more than a few hours into both.

Game #38 of 2025 completed: Ghost of Yotei.
Once I made the decision to go full mainline, I had a great time. Mostly because of the characters and story. Despite tackling well worn themes, it does so with eloquence. Erika Ishii is top notch. Enjoyed it a decent bit more than GoT.

Realized I never marked this "complete". Ive played about 55 hours. Hoping to play more in a month or two when new games slow down. Most hours in a MP game for me since Infinite. Most fun since Overwatch. Love this game.

Resident Evil vs Silent Hill is so interesting now that Ive played multiple games from each series.
For me, RE gameplay is so much better. The combat is tighter and boss fights are way more refined and interesting. More fun resource management too.
Buuut Silent Hill stories blow away RE.
