I haven't gotten sick in soooo long but I think someone at work gave me something... hoping it's not too bad/is chilled out enough to enjoy Christmas dinner at least. I think it's just a sinus infection though which I'm pretty good at tanking

This also applies to cartoons and comics and basically everything. It doesn’t matter if you have a concept of something already out there. If you love it, do it. Your work will have your unique mark on it by virtue of being made by YOU. (Also two cakes.)
