For me? Currently, it's about getting people in the door. Not bums on seats but a sense of familiarity, comfort and collective belonging? Something that is sustainable? To form the bones of something that has longevity while also creating a structure that inherently feeds new life into what we do?

I care less and feel less for him as time progresses but I'm still emotionally crippled by the wounds his carelessness caused. I hate him more than the ex who almost murdered me. I thought I could trust him and that he would hold my heart more carefully.

I wish I'd left out the part about him always having a place in my heart, as well as the best wishes. Although it might seem more dignified, I'd rather he believe I feel nothing but hatred towards him and for him to rot in that feeling. Maybe that small kindness will make him feel worse.

l'm really glad I had the opportunity to take you on that little journey of self-descovery and boost your ego. I think I'II reserve my emotional labour, creativity and magic for someone who actually deserves it in future, me. So no thank you to the casual coffee hangs.

I don't want or need your gratitude, you were, emotionally dishonest, selfish and careless. You led me on when I asked for a clean ending. You knew that it was wrong and unfair to say you still hoped to meet again in the future but you did it anyway. You should have lied when you admitted that you still loved me. You stole precious months of my life away with your pathological nice guy bullshit.,

I opened up to you in ways that I never have before and you completely shattered my ability to even begin to trust another person. Being with you was detrimental to my psychological, emotional and spiritual well-being. I don't know where the fuck you are drawing that sense of optimism from. l'm sure I will be perfectly fine without it. Perhaps you should save it for yourself, your girlfriend and your current relationship.

While I will always have a place for you in my heart, I'm not going to pretend that how you treated me was ok.
