So I've been kinda writing down my experience playing Wizardry, as well as recording most of my gameplay footage. The ultimate plan would be to make it into a YouTube video which is a pretty big creative ask but even if it doesn't amount to such I am kinda digging the writing process itself, so far.

tomb raider 2013 saying "you won't always have a fancy gadget to tell you where you are. learn to read the land and the stars" and then immediately prompting me to press LB for an objective marker is really going to set the tone for the whole experience, I think

it's certainly been frustrating to see devs say more and more "sorry guys but we need to make our games shout out every thing and handhold every last point so that someone who doesn't give a fuck about it can sleepwalk through it"

what's crazy is that if this annoying sidekick guy in MP4 was a woman but otherwise acted exactly the same people would be going feral for it. honestly a layup and they missed it
once a decade someone on the metroid team realizes the only character is a woman and goes, "hey wouldn't it be better if we added a man???" and then it sucks complete ass

Level 4 has quite thoroughly kicked my ass. I flew too close to the sun exploring the elavator section of the floor. I should've really known better when my mage died the first time and gone to grind some more...
The worst thing is I now need to come up with 6 new bird names lol
