The UK is losing up to £250m a day in lost tax revenue due to the economic impact of Brexit, House of Commons Library analysis for the Lib Dems suggests.

Brexit has blown a "black hole of [up to] £90 billion a year in the public finances" the party says. Even under lower estimates the hit is ~£65bn

Isn't he the BBC "chief political editor" which says all you need to know about the BBCs rightwards direction of travel, steered by Robbie Gibb
Who the f%*k is Chris Mason? Just watched his dreadful interview with Starmer. Who the hell does this weaselly third rate journalist think he is, presuming to grotesquely insult and trivialize the British PM? Starmer may have some challenges, but he shd not have to put up with this uninformed crap!

Autism is hereditary IE gene linked
I am living proof
Vaccines DO NOT cause autism - there is extensive research showing this. Resurrecting old, discredited, fraudulent work is shameful.

Vaccine-preventable illnesses are serious - this is going to cause real harms.

This is dangerous & disappointing.

Was he like a "quiet piggy?"
That Trump / Mamdani press conference was so weird. Donald was so tame, like Zohran was taking a pig for a walk.

Wow! Stephen Kinnock was one of the 40 Labour rebels that voted for the Brexit deal before they had even read it! I don't know how he still has a seat in Parliament much less a platform for this hypocritical bullshit Loathsome toad
Stephen Kinnock, "On food, let's get a better Brexit deal so we can reduce food costs because so much of the inflation in food cost is from the totally botched Brexit deal which ended up with massive import prices"

WHY isn’t Farage being charged with treason?
@labouruk.bsky.social ?
Surely what he’s done goes way past treason?
Does he get away with it because he’s rich?
It never stops.
The grubby donations. The profiteering. The lobbying. The lies.
“In 2019-20, as the UK was leaving the EU, Harborne gave £10m to Nigel Farage’s Brexit party, since renamed Reform UK.”
They make damn sure they get what they want.
We get screwed.

Apparently thousands of foreign qualified doctors are leaving the NHS due to the toxic environment for them and their families so if Labour continue down this line they will achieve what even Johnson failed to do at the height of COVID IE kill the NHS
This is a very disingenuous post. NHS workers are not being fast-tracked, they’ve simply retained the five-year route to ILR that they were promised when they moved to this country. Treating people fairly is not a Labour “win.”

Is it possible to hate this government any more?

It's not enough to have these findings basically confirm what we knew at the time it's vital that the key players are held accountable and punished accordingly and that response to these sorts of disaster are removed from the political arena and their plans and funding set in stone for the future

There's a tipping point imo I just hope the majority reach it by the midterms
People still default too often to the fact that Trumps base won’t care about one revelation or another. But as elections keep showing us, the universe of people other than his base is much bigger and we do care. So exposing shit does matter and it’s worth sharing those things so others oppose him.
