Can I get an amen?
Dangerous socialist or hitting one of the biggest problems with modern economies, that life is just getting too hard for small businesses and that saps energy from the market? Feels like EU and UK policy makers should be taking notice rather than the same old tired talk.
Soon small businesses won’t have to wait for Small Business Saturday to get attention from their Mayor.

Some changes that they can look forward to:

Sometimes it’s fun to remind ourselves that all of this is imaginary and would fall apart completely if enough of us stopped believing. Systems built by humans can be dismantled by humans, and after seeing all of the pre-budget drama, I’m convinced it wouldn’t be hard to rip this one to shreds.

When we joined the counter protest against the racist pricks screaming outside a Falkirk hotel housing asylum seekers, the police did nothing about the volleys of eggs thrown by the racists.
So there's a nice legal precedent if you happen to be in Falkirk on December 6 with a pocketful of eggs...

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

There are some truly unhinged bits in the piece about Glasman, as to be expected when dealing with Glasman, but seriously what the actual? That's...one hell of a conflation of terminology.

Early on the morning of Monday, March 16th, 2025, I paid my entire staff through the end of the month and rang round to tell them not to come to work. I had no idea what would happen next, but I knew that was the best thing to do at that moment. It was not a difficult decision.
