That’s not even like, in a romantic sense! I wish I shared a house with people that weren’t my parents, or had people I trusted enough to fall asleep around, that I could be surrounded by life and love and the comfort of familiarity, just…

I want to be… wanted somewhere. Have a home.

Makes sense. I’m from a different place, came here alone, stay here alone, leave here alone, to go home and be alone.

I don’t think my being able to be on my own and survive isn’t a strength so much as a well-developed survival mechanism. I really wish I wasn’t alone.

Nah, I get that. I usually avoid meet-ups, don’t really do panels, and I don’t tend to buy stuff, so the time with friends is all I got, and for one reason or another, it’s hard to be low on the totem pole for a lot of ‘em

The saving grace this year is just being content with myself, mostly.

Been needing a $$ tooth pull surgery for a while and finally have it scheduled for Nov. I worked really hard to do extra freelance plus have a lot more FSA money than I realized so I feel lucky and excited I can get it done 🥲

Like, I’ve had some lovely moment to moment interactions with friends and even strangers ofc, but most of any con for me is downtime when everyone’s off seeing each other, and since nobody really seeks me out, I kinda just gotta take my own initiative most nights
