I remember people hating on Alanis Morrisette for her song "Ironic" not actually having anything ironic in it, but it just now occurs to me that this was the most ironic thing she could do.

I have more than 1000 messages sitting in my in-box right now, and when I think about it, I want to throw up. That's normal, healthy adult behavior, right?

I do not care one bit how popular all this is or how much people say fighting back on all this is politically impractical. What is happening is immoral and utterly antithetical to the Gospel.
Long after this cruelty is over, we will remember those who welcomed it with open arms.
History will judge them in the same breath as those who tacitly approved of the leaders who encouraged the worst in humanity through history.

When future historians study this era, I have to imagine that American Catholics getting mad at the pope for blessing water will be used as a shorthand to explain why this was truly the dumbest generation.

Finally got around to listening to the new Public Enemy album today... wow... I admit, I wasn't prepared for how good it is. One of the top albums of their career easily. If you're at all into hip hop, take a listen. @chuckdpe.bsky.social can still spit fire!

This album is super underrated. It is bold and creative even just in how it was recorded. And the songs continue to resonate.

A too online man came to Jesus and asked, “What must I do to receive eternal life?”
Jesus told him to keep the
commandments, to which the man replied that he had. Jesus then told him to delete his accounts and stop trolling. When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he was based.
