Fabruary is a warm green and brown piece of Bugs (a cartoon bug) carrying a standee of Frankie (a frankenstein) in a parody of an Alan Wake pose through a forest, bugs dressed like Barry
March is a picture against a deep black background of Bugs in a birthday hat about to hit a button, and Frankie behind bugs about to pop a party popper
April is Bugs, Frankie, and Bucky from Shipwrecked 64 sitting on a bunkbed in warm browns and reds
May is a picture of Bugs, Frankie, Holly (a tall octoling with blonde tentacle hair) and Puzz (a shorter inkling with purple and pink hair and a hat) all wearing orange astronaut suits like Big Man (who is leading them in the piece) in a parody of Armageddon (1998), in searing warm oranges and yellows.

I want you to think about the phrase "hot ice cream" for a second, because you will think you know what it is. And then Banks and the Smize & Dream team will do everything they can to dissuade you of your certainty. "I'm not talking about a latte, I'm not talking about hot chocolate that has flavors," says Banks. The product is so new, it's not listed on the company's website yet, so there's no clue there. And in the comments of her introductory video, her team shoots down every plausible guess. "So …custard?" posits one, to which the official account lobs "So … naw." Another asks if it's like a warm milkshake? "Not quite." Melted ice cream as a drink? "It's a drink. But it's not melted." Or perhaps just a warm cup of milk. "If only it were that simple," they taunt. I cannot even tell what we are left with here. At a certain point, it seems like a liability to refuse to tell customers what is in the cup.

Balan wonderworld for sure. There’s a screen overlay ripple effect in two levels that made me nauseous on top of the gameplay being what it is.

It turns out the animation of the boss's HP bar filling up after their intro is handled by the game literally giving the boss HP. So the TAS maker had Megmam fore a shot that persists and bounced between walls. It was timed that it would hit the boss the moment it's hp bar started filling.

fun fact: internal resolution is doubled in the dark world and most gfx are rendered at 2x size. but i Really wanted susie's apron to be legible ingame, so her minigame-specific chef sprites are actually twice as big internally and rendered at 1x!!

forgive me my mixel crimes... it was worth it....
