Been talking with @friendfrankenstein.bsky.social more who has a really fun approach on Battat as Motormouth Mike being a fun mirror to Mettaton and his robot body (aka Tenna accidentally successfully cracked an egg by demanding Someone be Mike)

it's a small brown dog shaped likea cube, open mouthed panting, sparkling eyes looking in different directions. it has a big fluffy tail that looks like an enormous bunny tail Same dog is being carried by the Inspector character, now so tiny it fits in one hand, big wet eyes sad. Its bunny tail hangs down, limp. The inspector rubs his neck sheepishly as other characters look on Inspector: Torasawa can throw me like I'm a child, I'd love to get a point against him The inspector cuddles the miserable sad cube dog, which has big long eyelashes? Thinking about what a Battat/motormouth Mike what came along to Mettaton’s might end up looking like. I think a publicity agent gig would be a good way to break him.

In both doodles his ‘hair’ has more volume than the comb over on his standard sprite. Motormouth Mike grins manically, one foot crossed over the other, writing notes with one hand and tapping at his phone with the other. Mettaton EX (let’s pretend this could happen) is talking at him, hand to his own chest, clearly complaining about something but the text boxes are scribbles. You’ve got game over, the spamton shopkeep sprites, the rooms of the house, the knight, ‘Brother’ from the ref to asriel, Tenna’s famous love of ska, the empty stages, the game boards, the intro screen… it’s quite cool, it made my heart ache when I got a cap n glanced through
The glitched screen that would show before Tenna’s fight was fixed, where it’s the big texture file for chapter 3’s rooms (with spamton shopkeep and some knight sprites in there)

it's the pink shiny form of the pokemon eiscue, a very similar palette to tenna's npc form. with square head and smaller, sadder, smaller head. and the one baby hair. i assume tenna would have two of them. it's awful to think about, isn't it

Final note- I think he’s definitely Choosing to do it because when he’s in private he doesn’t use it (instead just trailing off or going か．．．), but as soon as he realizes Kris is there he drops in the でSHOW．Funny guy.
