Well now, would you look at that? A massive, 4-YEAR-LONG study of NEARLY 30 MILLION people in France found that individuals who received a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine had a 74% LOWER risk of death from severe COVID-19 compared to unvaccinated individuals and ZERO increased risk of all-cause mortality.

We can easily afford Universal Basic Income, free childcare, Universal healthcare, and free college education. We always have been able to afford these things.

🎶🎤We coulda had it alllllllllllll——uh—-llll🎵
How many times in your life have you heard a member of Congress or someone on TV say “we can’t afford it” when talking about something small but very important? It’s been happening my entire life. We can’t afford it? They’re putting seven times the annual budget of the EPA into immigrant detention.

This is close to 100% preventable.
Of babies infected w/Hepatitis B, 90% develop chronic infection.

Of those, 1 in 4 will DIE.

They lose the ability to get rid of toxins & make important proteins. Their skin yellows, their abdomen swells, they’re uncomfortable. A fate no one deserves.

One we can avoid w/ vaccination.

There aren’t many things worse one can imagine than the loss of a child.

But the loss of a child to a vaccine preventable disease is a pain no parent or family should ever have to bear.

Sowing distrust about vaccines, arguably the greatest public health success of all time, is pure evil.

A neat thing about birthright citizenship is how it tests whether a person cares at all about the Constitution. There's no argument against it, birthright citizenship is the unambitious text, the obvious intent of the drafters, and the undisputed way it was followed for the past 150+ years.
I continue to think that Matty coming out against birthright citizenship a few months ago should have been taken as a major warning sign that the group chats have already decided to surrender on this.

I support abolishing slavery. Let’s do it.
160 years ago today, the 13th Amendment was ratified to end slavery, with one major exception: punishment for a crime.

The legacy of slavery lives on as people behind bars are still coerced into working for mere pennies or nothing at all.

It's long overdue to abolish slavery in all its forms.

Every Democrat going on air should take the first question and then say something like “Before I answer that I need to express my outrage and disgust at the president’s bigoted and vulgar insults about the Somali people. There is something seriously wrong with him. He is a sick man.”

The wealthy invest heavily in antiblackness to keep the masses occupied instead. I wouldn't be surprised if they spend more on it than what a working social safety net would cost.
lol what the wealthy today don't seem to understand is part of staying wealthy in society is not pissing off the masses.

There's a reason why Carnegie and the Rockefellers poured money into institutions. Gutting institutions and making it harder for the masses to survive is a...choice.

The same people who naively embrace "genetics" as the explanation for complex social outcomes (e.g., poverty, crime, "IQ" / standardized test scores) are happy to reject genetic explanations for autism in favor of half-baked, unsupported theories that allow them to blame moms. And sell them stuff.

Countries with DEI and abortion are human rights violators, says country where armed and masked government forces are invading neighborhoods.
"Countries with state subsidies for abortion, transgender-friendly policies for children, hate speech laws and affirmative action policies will now be considered to be violating human rights under rules imposed at the [US] State Department..."
