I haven't found any goods uses for it so far.
The accuracy rate is shite which means i spend more time checking it for errors than it would take to research it myself, and the one time i thought i had a use for it Microsoft limited its usage and wanted cash for more iterations. Pure shite.

AI has utterly ruined 'listen to function' on news pages where it delivers a synopsis rather than verbatim. I've gone back to long reading and only use listen to if not AI.

Labour are holding the door open for fascism.
This is madness.

All books by Normal People and Conversations with Friends author Sally Rooney set to be withdrawn from sale.

The 34-year-old Irish author says: “The disappearance of my work from bookshops would mark a truly extreme incursion by the state into the realm of artistic expression.”
Sally Rooney books may be withdrawn from UK sale over Palestine Action ban, court told
Rooney has said she intended to use royalties from her work "to go on supporting Palestine Action."

When the government acts like fascists then its many tentacles do likewise.
A woman recently went viral for holding up a window sign during a traffic stop, part of a growing trend of drivers using cards to assert their rights instead of speaking to police.

I know of a rugby club who have a 10' plastic parrot in their loft space since 1981 that was brought home from an amusement park in Rhyl.
No don't ask...
A cocktail bar manager has said he has “no idea” why an 8ft nutcracker statue, named Nolan, was stolen from outside an Edinburgh venue as the search to find it continues

Budget 2025.

Household energy bills could be cut by £154, green levies shifted to general taxation.

No abolition of VAT on domestic fuel.

No curbs on energy company profiteering/dividends.

No change in the Ofgem pricing formula, which gives us one of the most expensive electricity in the world.

Labour came in promising to cut energy bills by £300. Now they’re almost £200 higher, and they trumpet a change that won’t even cover the increase since they took office.

Is this really it??

This is an awful choice by Orwell Prize Foundation and undermines everything their namesake stood for. 🤢
I’m a past winner of the Orwell Prize & won partly because I exposed Vote Leave’s unlawful activities.

Michael Gove was its co-convener & refused to answer a single q. He’s now a judge of the prize & our world is truly one that Orwell would recognise
