I have been in the ER full of sick people for hours with my N95, and not caught anything.
My family member with shit lungs on two immunosuppressants? Has been in an airport, an ER, a house with someone with an active COVID infection.
And not caught those infections due to their N95.

Masking works. My respirator has kept me free from Covid and flu for six years. 😷
Vaccines are great, but not inhaling viruses into your body is super cool when vaccines do not provide 100% protection. Vaccines & masking in combination FTW.

Tattoo friends.
How do you feel about taking a piece of art (no copyright issues) to a tattooist and having them turn it into a tattoo.
Does it need to be a photograph quality copy, or can the tattooist put their spin on it?
If they change it, does that remove the love and care of the original?

I would absolutely love to read some asexual mothman stories.
So, creative types should get on this.

Today my debut novel #Gunnawah officially became the Number 1 best seller
That means I'll get a private jet, and a 10 year supply of Grey Goose and Tim Tams, and a marching team of cartwheeling dachshunds and . . . . .
(I'll just get a red sticker on the front cover 😎)

I scrolled your page, and I can see that you're still posting. Im just not seeing it.
Anyway, your jokes make me smile.

It was there for about 4 months.

Someone has pinned a $5 note to the notice board in the staff team room at work.
It has been there for over a month, and no one has claimed it.
We are all treating it like a social experiment now.

Managed to get my mitts on the new #asexual independent film despite living in Australia. (It took an email.)
Watched it with @eviljoy36.bsky.social and we found a lot to talk about.
Here are my thoughts...
(If you're in e.g. the USA apparently it's on Apple and Prime?)

I was telling a friend how in the 2000s I had wanted to get my name tattooed on my spine... except in wingdings..
They said, its a good thing I didn't, cause I changed my name.
So I decided to look up BEE in wingdings..
Ohh. Ohhh no.

It's still 15 months away, but I've just made (tentative) plans for my 50th birthday.
I'm going on a road trip.
Brisbane down to Cape Otway in Victoria. That's roughly a 20-hour drive.

But it's worth noting sales of digital audio are up.
Personally, the last decade has seen me switch the vast majority of my fiction reading to audio. I can do other things while I read & the more I listen to audio, the better I'm able to focus. Podcasts have helped this skill.
