Not to take away from them, but it is really interesting how the era of the Big 3 has essentially eliminated the era of Sampras. At this retirement, he could plausibly be called the greatest tennis player ever, and 10 years later, it was like Pete Who?

I am no longer a knower of British politics, but I don’t understand why Keir Starmer is still PM. I get that my feed is likely a bubble of anti-Starmer, but I’ve never seen any mention of him delivering for any core Labour constituency. Surely Labour can find someone else?

Tangential point: Too many professionals feel a need to reflexively defend against external critiques. We see this so much with lawyers. Saw it this weekend with a former NYT reporter defending the Epstein piece.
This reflexiveness closes them off to actually listening.
