This is one reason a Nordic-Baltic deterrent could be, if not exactly cheap, then at least affordable.

Ukraine's spy chief Kyrylo Budanov gave a blunt answer when asked about tapping top Kremlin officials: “We can, yes. That's what we get paid for.”

The comment comes after reports of a leaked conversation between Putin’s close adviser and envoy.

It is not a “peace plan.” It is a Russian proposal for Ukrainian capitulation endorsed by the Trump administration. Kirill Dmitriev reportedly leaked the plan to the American press to tie Trump’s hands. (I hope the president and his aides realize what a sinister move this was by Dmitriev.)

Just a little reminder:

Elon Musk is lying to you.

He bends when asked to, and the fine X received from the EU has nothing to do with censorship.

Musk simply refuses to follow laws and be transparent, and he gets a tiny fine for it

In general, Ukraine has been promised more than it has been given. Europe is also guilty of this, failing to ramp up production in time.

Stringing Ukraine along by making empty promises, e.g. Tomahawks, and then humiliating it for asking things, though, is Trump's trademark move.

I didn't vote for Trump either time, not because he ran under the Republican banner, but because I knew what kind of man he was. He's proven me right in so many ways during his second term in office, it's sickening and demoralizing to see what he's done to our once proud nation. 🗽
