Many thanks to the scientists and clinicians who put their livelihoods on the line to keep the ACIP as focused on evidence as it could be, considering the anti-science ijits in control. A 🧵 about the decision from a reliable scientist.

#Healthcare #Vaccination
1/ ACIP’s meeting last week was disgraceful, unprepared, & chaotic. They voted to roll back the universal #HepB birth dose despite no evidence of harm, and pushed an antibody test that doesn’t reliably guide decisions. This shift will have real consequences—with babies and families paying the price.

Given that the Russians quite literally drafted our capitulation plan for Ukraine one has to wonder about whether there wasn’t at least a bit of cutting and pasting here.
"The Kremlin on Sunday welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump's new national security strategy and said it largely accorded with Russia's own perceptions, the first time that Moscow has so fulsomely praised such a document from its former Cold War foe."

Being extremely careful about image/video attribution isn’t JUST important for giving credit to artists and creators. It’s also a way to slightly decrease your chances of spreading deceptive AI slop!
The thing that made me most suspicious was the lack of attribution of any kind. A conveniently perfect light-up sign at the beginning that states the premise of the video but doesn’t mention the facility, for instance. (This is part of why it’s bad to share stuff if you don’t know its provenance!)

Muscovites don't limit atrocities to just #Ukraine. They also export their terror to African countries, like #Mali, or #Sudan with the RSF.
😳 Russian Defense Ministry "Africa Corps" soldiers are accused of killing civilians in Mali, - AP

Amid ongoing fighting in the country, local residents are reporting new serious violations, which they blame on mercenaries from the "Africa Corps"—the organization that replaced the Wagner PMC.

☠️ The Economist: Russia lost 1% of its pre-war male population in Ukraine.

In total, Russian losses in dead and wounded amounted to between 1 million and 1.35 million soldiers.

Over the past three years, Russia has been able to occupy an additional 1.45% of Ukrainian territory.

🪖 Russia is preparing for nationwide mobilization.

Sanctions, Ukraine’s strikes on the oil sector, and massive spending on contract soldiers have drained the Kremlin’s finances. Continuing the war against Ukraine will soon be possible only through large-scale mobilization.

Kharkiv hospitals operate in basements now. Surgeries run on generator power. Oxygen gets delivered during air raids.

Three years of bombardment taught them what NATO hasn't learned: resilience is infrastructure, not courage. euromaidanpress.com/2025/12/06/i...
I saw how Kharkiv’s hospitals survived bombardment. NATO needs to learn before 2026.

There’s something incomprehensibly evil about wanting to murder people. It’s symbolically sadistic to do it on holidays.

Spent more money, got fewer products for that more-money. Thanks, Donold.
Rising costs, driven by rising inflation and Trump’s disastrous tariffs, kept discounts flat compared to 2024, Reuters reported.

So while consumers may have spent more money on Black Friday than in previous years, shoppers checked out with far fewer items, according to Salesforce. trib.al/pfY39ve

It purports that someone tried to charge $143.95 to my account and wants me to log-in with my password.

A quick Google search revealed that "$143.95" has been charged to THOUSANDS of Apple accounts.

I hate being scammed by the lazy.
