Thirty years later, Heat is still an all-time favorite with its stellar cast, dueling hero’s journies, and homage to the City of Angels.

It's horrifying that someone, in this case Charlie Kirk, was speaking on a college quad and was assassinated from 200 yards out with a single shot. Huge public policy failure that anyone--with or without such skill--can open carry anywhere.

This is exactly the problem:
The problem with allowing guns everywhere is that no one is safe anywhere.

Today’s murder of Charlie Kirk is outrageous. It is part of a dangerous pattern of violence that threatens the safety of all communities. This violence is unacceptable and tears at the social fabric, and we must find a way to work together to end it.

Agree 100%.
The attack on Charlie Kirk is disgusting, vile, and reprehensible.

In the United States of America, we must reject political violence in EVERY form.

Lithium deficiency and the onset of Alzheimer’s disease - Nature
Lithium has an essential role in the brain and is deficient early in Alzheimer’s disease, which can be recapitulated in mice and treated with a novel lithium salt that restores the physiological level.

"[I]t's the lack of appreciation for the unique value of human spirit and intelligence." Exactly.
Like, it's not the technology that's bad, it's the lack of appreciation for the unique value of human spirit and intelligence. I'm not afraid of probabilistic inference, but I'm terrified that we're spending $300 billion this year alone on the theory that machines could possibly make humans obsolete
