Went and saw the amazing Aimee Mann and Ted Leo Christmas Show tonight. What a great time from top to bottom! Paul F Tompkins remains the funniest person on the planet. However, I think the elderly (season ticket holder?) patrons of the Irish American Heritage Center had no idea what was happening

Made the Cooking Classy recipe for Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup. Honestly, perfect for this weather. One or two more pots than I’d like to use for a soup, but absolutely worth it. I wish I would have remembered to get a loaf of fresh bread to go with it, but still good!

12 hour shift followed by driving home in a snowstorm at 2am followed by my car getting stuck in the alley as I attempt to pull into my parking spot followed by me digging myself out and using a whole bag of salt just to get into said parking spot. Doesn’t bode well for the rest of the winter!
