This is a sort of cartoonish evil that will only be rewarded with an intense proseecution and clawing back of of any illegal money stolen on his behalf. Also, getting the money back will not save you from prison, Michael Flynn.

I wonder how some voters feel about their man’s campaign of terror against people that look a lot like them. They voted for their friends, family and countrymen to be rounded up in the night, hoping for lower prices, I guess. Seems like future political solidarity might be a reach.

It’s critical that AI become part of global climate negotiations—not as an escape hatch for how it could save the planet, but as an urgent threat to people, wildlife, and the atmosphere, say Jean Su and John Fleming of @biologicaldiversity.org.
Behind AI Hype, Climate Consequences
AI’s massive energy use is giving fossil fuels a lifeline when they should be rapidly phased out in response to the climate emergency.

"81% [of teachers surveyed] said students at their school receive devices for use in class by kindergarten."

Why are we giving five-year-olds screens in classrooms? It's nuts and almost universal. What a messed up policy.

Trumpists hoping they can get that down to two years and no one will notice.
Global carbon emissions from fossil fuels are projected to rise to an all-time high this year, according to a report.

At this rate, it will take the world four years to pass the threshold experts agree would constitute catastrophic warming, the authors said.
Despite surging renewables, fossil fuel emissions will hit record this year
Emission-rate increases will accelerate in the U.S. and E.U. but will slow in China and India, according to a report published Wednesday.
