This is the same tortured logic that said DOMA wasn't discriminatory because a gay man had the same right to marry a woman as a straight man had.

The Roberts court will go down in history as one of the worst we've seen.

Why I really wanted to get the 1857 and 1869 topographic contours and waterways reconciled correctly, and also why it didn’t really matter if I got them reconciled correctly

So many endocrinologists were skeptical of this. I'm glad there's something on the record, finally.

I was stalled out with growth for years and then added a cup size fairly quickly upon finally adding prog.
a study showing the efficacy of progesterone for breast growth has finally come out perhaps some people can stop falsely accusing the rest of us of spreading medical misinformation just because they downplay the value of anecdotal evidence in the absence of such studies
Adding progesterone to gender-affirming hormone therapy improves breast growth for transgender people
The addition of the hormone progesterone to gender-affirming hormone therapy leads to increased breast growth for transgender people following feminising hormone therapy.

Dear self, IT DOESN'T MATTER. You do not actually need to completely and correctly reconcile the 1857 topographic contours with the 1869 contours

What I'm imagining is that the north end of the Bernal Cut more or less corresponds to natural drainage, but that the south end cuts perpendicularly across a natural southeastern flow near Milton and Cuvier Streets. Does that seem believable?

Ever needed to simplify street networks? I did. And it is a pain. So we wrote an algorithm that does that for us. And can do for you, as it is available as a Python package called `neatnet`.

Here's a short blog about it - martinfleischmann.net/simplificati... and package - uscuni.org/neatnet

I don't get why the Mission Creek tributaries would have flowed along the paths shown on the 1857 topo (left) rather than following the contours downhill (right), especially the part running south on future Douglass Street. Was it culverted?
