The first step was accepting that I was powerless over my gender identity and that my life had become unmanageable.

The second step was coming to believe that transition could restore me to sanity.

And it has.

So there is a downside to having a therapist who understands transgender & neurodivergence issues: they see through my self-deprecating bs and tell me I need to try to show myself the same grace I show my friends. It turns out, I'm far less cryptic & mysterious than I believed. Took only 3 visits. 😳

I have a consult for my FFS in Seattle on December 5, in the morning, in Seattle. I also have a therapy appointment at noon. I'm hoping there is a kind and generous moot in the city who can provide me a mirror to do my makeup and a private space to do my telehealth therapy. I'll be very grateful.
