I'm not following political accounts. Never have, never will. Not here nor Twtr. Nor want them following my fandom account tbf.

Less still now, even more so if all US nonsense.

Not gonna lie - idk why I never watched the Matt Damon Great Wall movie. took an edible, watching now, and it's entirely a Chinese wuxia movie that Matt Damon and Pedro Pascal just wandered into and real, and I didn't even know that Zhang Yimou directed it

Very honorably Matt Damon for his Dutch accent too! Although us dutchies are already happy when actual Dutch is spoken vs German and calling that supposed Dutch 😂

fun facts about Hollywood Russian accents I've seen:

the worst Russian accent by far was Scarlett Johansson (dishonorable mention John Cleese in "A Fish Called Wanda")

the best Russian accent was Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible (honorable mention Matt Damon in the Bourne movies)

I find that very often Capricorn Moons have to learn to not deny themselves their basic human needs but once they are able to heal or get help they become very dedicated to making sure they never have to re-visit that place (& perhaps even develop a fear of having to go back there)

Amazon, please stop asking me if books I bought month ago met my expectations. I still have unread books I bought in 2012. Be real.

How do you feel about this movie or maybe better said, how much do you like this movie?
OTD, in 1997, Good Will Hunting premieres. Oscar wins for Robin Williams and for screenplay. Always loved this scene about peccadillos.

I had the chance to talk to Stephen Rea once. I asked him about about devoting his career to new plays (fantastic ones at that) - how did it affect his process? He said, in effect, it forces you to be imaginative & it forces you to be daring, & it's absolutely made him a better actor everywhere.

I miss theatre. Not had a chance to get to London for anything since 2018 when did the trip to catch Tim McMullan.

99% likely I can't make it to Woman in Mind either, 12 weeks from Dec 9th, but realized tonight Stephen Rea and he fall on the same spectrum for me. Often melancholy resignation tho.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Krampus, Lord of the Yule? I thought not. It's not a story Santa would tell you.

While a lot of St. Nick's companions (Hans Trapp, Knecht Ruprecht, Pere Fouettard, Schmutzli, Rubbels, etc, etc) have different names and different stories and origins, and while I design my versions to suit those stories, a lot of their "traditional" costumes are identical: black beard, brown robes

3 movies to watch for Krampusnacht (this Friday)- in addition to "Krampus." Red One, A Christmas Horror Story, Slay Belles, 3 Wise Men vs Santa (I know, everyone is going to say I missed "Rare Exports" but that's not Krampus it's Joulupukki. Still a perfectly fine watch for the night though)
