Thinking about all the folks I know who are critics who review animation but aren't in a large city but screeners have helped them be able to ensure they can keep with everything. Idk man. Just sucks.

I am starting to resent anime getting popular. The biggest anime film this year not sending screeners and only have one pre-release an hour away from me is just not great. Bless all the animation film companies still sending out screeners and valuing coverage.

writing my review for BOOTS and it's a weird one - i don't think we need any more "be all you can be" stories about the military but it's adapted from a memoir and it highlights how *bad* boot camp can be and also a different way of coming of age so idk idk

A mom in Houston reported her 15-year-old son with autism missing. She spent 6 days terrified, searching for him. The whole time, Houston police knew exactly where he was since they helped ICE place him in a refugee facility.

This is beyond cruel.
