I'm low-key workshopping this idea as we speak, also I mis remembered the game I was referring to it's actually Reigns. I'm currently thinking through how to make the gameplay loop different enough, and more of a desktop experience.
I have ideas, and it seems achievable, although difficult for me

One of the most reasonable (solo) game ideas I have is something like REIGN. A storytelling game where the player survives through random(?) plot beats of an otherwise linear story. If you "die" you can start another run, but the events from before still happened, until the inevitable ending

Not to be a downer, but admittedly shocked I've managed to get through 2025 ... So much bad stuff has happened, and the future felt like a dark void at times.
But somehow, I'm still here. And that's thanks to the kindness of others. I couldn't have made it through without my friends

Also reading this back after a few hours ... I've already been told I'm quite a generalist when it comes to art, I guess there's always room to expand on that xD
If anything... I tried to recover 2025 into being a decent setup for 2026.
Did a ton of stuff for my stream assets, I setup a VGen account (yet to be filled), started learning 3D art, and I'm currently in the process of going through the full of making 2D VTube models. Along with IRL stuff

Feeling a loooot better than yesterday, which might be because of the 16 hours of sleep. Still muscle ache tho, but I didn't expect that to fade as quickly

I still feel rather groggy. But the good news is that I managed to keep everything inside since I properly woke up. There might still be a fever reaction inside, but that's a lot better than last night
