Seems to be standard procedure for right wing politicians. Lie, denial and deceit, following in the footsteps of president bone spurs in the US. Not that every politician is squeaky clean, just a little more blatant on the right due to southern connections encouraging breaking laws and conventions.

Power lines around here run on the hills and through fields and wood lots making repairs in the winter extremely difficult. The program to move line to roadside for easier access seems to have folded. This results in long repair delays, particularly in winter when most outages occur.

Publicly companies investing in Canada is one thing, but for a government of a foreign country? That’s a bridge too far given the unreliable relationship with Trump. Do we want US government control of Canadian resources - ever?

The Golden Dome would cover Canada whether we wanted it or not. They would want as much of the action away from the US targets, better to blow stuff up over Canada. Besides they need forwards radar positions in the north. Trump should pay us - but of course CN Top Brass love American military toys!

My naive wish is that even one Canadian journalist, one politician, one security analyst, would address the implications of Canada choosing military integration with an authoritarian power that no longer respects the rule of law or international law.
Looks like that’s not going to happen today.

I never want to see another movie or tv program in which actors are smoking. Same goes for vaping. From now on, I turn them off - I will not allow smoking as an activity in my house and certainly not as part of so called entertainment. They never show masking, they’re not gonna show smoking…!

All those skilled Canadian aviation technologists the Avro Arrow program developed, pushed to the US to help create the NASA space program and develop programs that lead to the F-35…! Total lack of foresight to think that Canada could ever be a leader in aviation.

Even more evidence that Covid and flu vaccination needs to occur before schools and universities open. The sudden influx of students from around the country, even the world points to increased risk for everyone. The fact the the role of CMOH is now politicized doesn’t help anyone.
