Law Enforcement is releasing the "person of interest" in the Brown University shooting. He’s not the guy. The search is ongoing, and this isn’t over.

This is why I never reported on the person's name. Getting stuff like this wrong can ruin lives.

Much like RIPTA itself, a crack is forming in my WAVE card indicating the decline of both this transit pass and the agency itself as the pass is an indicator species.

So frustrating to see how RIPTA service cuts are leaving so many riders behind. A Providence teacher raised concerns about buses passing her students, and RIPTA explained it’s due to overcrowding caused by the cuts. Stop throwing riders under the bus, @govdanmckee.bsky.social! 🙏🏽Have you no shame? 🚨🚌
Response on X from RIPTA: Thanks for letting us know. We're sorry to hear this happened. The likeliest reason the bus didn’t stop is due to overcrowding, a result of the service reductions that went into effect on Saturday, September 27.
