I wrote to my MP requesting she ask Labour to support a law to introduce Vicarious Liability for landowners which would make them legally responsible if their employee, a gamekeeper, shoots or traps a protected bird of prey. She did and it had absolutely no support from Labour.

Fox hunting is a revolting sport. It's only survived in any form because it's done by ghastly, entitled, influential and aristocratic people who feel it's the God given right to charge about the place in silly costumes tearing animals apart for no good reason.

We continue to stand in solidarity with Denmark and Greenland.

Greenland is an autonomous territory in the Kingdom of Denmark. Any changes to that status are for Greenlanders and Danes alone to decide. (1/2)

In advance of the Tiverton Foxhounds’ infamous Boxing Day meet next week, we thought we’d pay them a visit.

They spent the day blatantly hunting foxes, drawing dense coverts, and had multiple terriermen out with them despite the recent ruling from the BHSA.

Incredible. This morning on the BBC site story was titled "Puppy farm ban promised in plans to improve animal welfare" with puppy pic up top. Later changed to "Hen cages and pig crates face ban" and gives top focus to policy's opponents. The puppy/RSPCA angle is 20 paragraphs in, as "meanwhile". ~AA
