I worked as a professional labor organizer for a decade and I see zero conflict between that and my later organizing work getting Nazis fired from their workplaces.
Nazis in the workplace are an occupational safety hazard to other workers, most especially workers from marginalized identities

not "just this side." the right literally tells their voters the democrats *are* demons. when they vote gop much of their base literally believes they are acting as agents of god to prevent a demon infestation. that is a hell of a motivator.
you can see it when a Republican completely realizes that Trump is horrible but the idea of voting for *a DEMOCRAT* is met with a pained face and something akin to nausea...bc they've been conditioned their entire lives to think Democrats are something just this side of demonic

25 years ago today, SCOTUS elected George W Bush president of the United States by blocking completion of a voting canvass in Florida. A subsequent canvass by the Associated Press showed that Bush's rival, Al Gore, had won the race in Florida—and thus the contest for the presidency—by 700 votes.
