It's like the bottom 3 inches of the zone didn't exist. It was absolutely a death sentence for Yesavage. He lives down there with his splitter and got no calls.

He gave Yesavage nothing at the bottom or the edges of the zone. When you rely on a splitter, it's impossible to get through a lineup as potent as the Mariners with nothing called your way down low.

Calls went both ways. Bottom line is the Mariners made the most of it. The Blue Jays did not.

I can think of about a half dozen "impactful calls" in the first 2 innings that changed the course of the game.

He wasn't giving Yesavage anything at the bottom of the zone. When you rely on a splitter, that's a huge problem.

Bottom line: The Mariners capitalized, the Blue Jays did not.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

It's not just young men either. Some of my good friends in their 40s are doing this on a nightly basis, dropping $1000 on a 4 leg parlay. They are even betting on WNBA games. 🤦‍♂️

The bet gets screenshot into the group chat. It's almost like a dare or a brag to show $1000 with a $2500 payout.
