Holding this book for the first time was a feeling I’ll remember forever.

16 months ago, I signed the book deal. One month from now, you finally get to read the damn thing.

Hello from Seattle.

Games 3-4-5 of the ALCS here tomorrow. I’ve covered a postseason game here before and it’s a wild environment. #BlueJays

#BlueJays lose, 10-3.

They’re down 2-0 in the ALCS flying to Seattle for Games 3-4-5.

Home run, Josh Naylor, and the #BlueJays are down 9-3.

They've got three innings left to avoid flying to Seattle down 2-0 in the ALCS.

I didn’t love the move from Gausman to Little last night, but I can't pretend to have an issue with the timing of the Yesavage move tonight just because of the homer soon after.

His stuff wasn’t as sharp and he wasn’t getting the swings (or whiffs) on his splitter. #BlueJays

That closes the book on #BlueJays starter Trey Yesavage (note that one of these runs charged against Yesavage was the Raleigh intentional walk before he exited):

4+ IP • 5 ER, 4 H, 3 BB, 4 K
• 70 pitches

Gilbert is giving the #BlueJays meatballs.

I don't know how much longer we'll see him in there. Some really risky locations.

Hit Batter, Walk, Homer.

This couldn't look less like Trey Yesavage's postseason debut against the Yankees last week.

The #BlueJays are down, 3-0, before an out is recorded.

News: Anthony Santander is out of the lineup with back tightness. #BlueJays

Game 2.

It will be a little cooler in here tonight, but that’s what postseason baseball is supposed to feel like. #BlueJays

Kevin Gausman, self-critical after the #BlueJays' loss that I don't think can be tagged to him:

"I gave up a home run and a walk. Up to that point, I’d been throwing the ball really well and had the game right there. This one’s on me.”

John Schneider said they wanted to turn Polanco around in the 6th and chase more swing-and-miss.

He considered walking Raleigh earlier, too, but chose not to.

He adds that, in hindsight, ideally they would have tried to get Polanco to chase once more in that at-bat. #BlueJays

#BlueJays lose, 3-1, and drop Game 1 of the ALCS.

The lineup had just two hits, only one after George Springer’s leadoff homer.

Big escape by Louis Varland.

Somewhere in the dome, the person who decided to shape the tops of the outfield walls like that during the renovations is having their moment. Suárez’s fly ball barely, barely missed going out. #BlueJays
keeganmatheson.bsky.social
Nathan Lukes has a "right knee contusion", the #BlueJays tell us, and he's being evaluated.

Kevin Gausman's day is done after 5 2/3 innings on just 76 pitches.

He leaves a runner on, but the home run to Raleigh was his only damage. #BlueJays

George Springer, on the first damn pitch the #BlueJays see in the ALCS:

Trey Yesavage just opened with a statement:

“It’s sad to see that people close to me are being attacked for my performance on the field. These people have done nothing to warrant negativity for my actions.” #BlueJays
