Yeah, they look like great toys. Maybe it's the muted colors, although I get they are going for an ancient art/sentai sort of thing. The price increases have also made me think harder about my toy/dumb shit purchases, so I don't really impulse buy them as often.

I agree. I have been wanting them to do something new and different for years, and then they do something new and different with the Primes, and none of them really speak to me. I don't know why.

Marbles toy design, not to be mean, has one of my least favorite head designs on any transforming robot ever, it looks like he has an exposed brain. It is no surprise why the film changed it to be a helmet despite their being no prototype that remotely looks that way.

That's what I loved about Beast Wars. While some of the Predacons were dumb, they would still win occasionally, sometimes due to the Maximals making a mistake. It made things feel like an actual conflict.

Yeah, kind of sucks, but I only found out about them because of Transformers, so I can't call them sell outs or anything. Really hope their Mask stuff is good. I did not grow up with it, just had a few garage sale ones, but I may try one if they seem worth it. I'll be looking for your take on it.

They used to sell a lot of clothes, skate decks, art stuff and etc. It's funny how they shifted from a Kidrobot like company to a mini Hasbro over the years.

I have a rabbit figure and some of their SD Transformer toys from awhile back. They were fun, but later waves added ball joints, which did not hold together too well. The BST ATN stuff just did not appeal to me.

Sorry, I guess I meant like thinner looking. Like the Shogun Zord seems beefier and more armored than the Ninja Zord, so I can see someone in the US saying that that looks like the more powerful one. I never had the Shogun Zord toy, so I have never seen the toys side by side before.

They would have to scan in the broken parts, and then put the models back in like they were recreating a dinosaur or something. It does seem weird that no one has tried to make GPS replacement parts, at least for the guys that are not 80% metallic.

Core class ended up growing on me, but a majority of them I got for around $5 at discount stores. $10-$12 was just too much for most of them, even if they are more complex than other cheap/small Transformers.
