this show has done really really good scale stuff a few times and it's so good
like the first time it was really done was with the carta and mika fight on the beach where we got to see them from far off and orga and biscuit were up close and it made the suits feel HUGE

while there is a lot that you can do with mechs and they are kind of perfect for big metaphors about humanity I do think the most base thing that is present and like really interesting to me is that if your giant weapon is person shaped that says a lot already
