I wasn't expecting to like these since the robot modes were so goddamn bland but those are some pretty fascinating and well-engineered transformations. Makes me wish these molds could be used for actual Transformers characters.

Well I busted out my LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse to remind myself that I don't need more huge LEGO sets and miraculously the Reddish-Brown Plastic Syndrome doesn't seem to have kicked in yet. A little Memento Fracti there to enjoy things before entropy catches up

@inflatabledalek.bsky.social it only just occurred to me but I think Read Or Die (2001) might be the perfect intersection of several of your current interests. James Bond, except it's a tiny half-Japanese bookworm who has Toku-esque powers to manipulate any paper.

I *really* like the LEGO Bricklink Designer 50s Diner (although the current prices would make any responsible adult cry) but my suspension of disbelief is ruined by there being no restroom or kitchen. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of magic diner or something?

Big Ghost Game update! The Digimon Ghost Game English dub is coming to BBC iPlayer for those in the UK on December 1st! This lines up with info we got earlier in the year. We'll see when/how we get it in the US & elsewhere.

I bought Spider-Man 2 for the Steam Deck in the sale but unfortunately it's visually just too crunchy for me and it crashed right after the first mission. I'm glad Steam's refund policy is so robust.

It's a real shame that the The Loyal Subjects M.A.S.K. sets aren't that great based on what people who already got them are saying. Lots of reports of drooping or loose parts, which isn't acceptable for the price they are.

Archie wasn't widely distributed in the UK when I was a kid, it was just whichever digests randomly made their way over from the US. So when I saw this cover without context I just assumed that Jughead 2 was dating a parallel universe female Archie.
