Well, it's that time again. Meet "Cicada", BA.3.2* (including descendant RE.*). This one has been underground for years (its ancestor BA.3 hasn't been circulating since early 2022, and didn't do much then either). but is now emerging as a contender for the next major lineage.

Ditto for people who get long COVID. I definitely read more medical literature than all of my doctors combined, times 100. I've read more SARS-CoV-2 lit than what I read for my two masters degrees, combined.
I hate that the number one piece of advice I have for folks new to navigating Lyme disease is: I hope you studied a science in undergrad and are prepared to self-study your way to a metaphorical graduate degree in medical topics with zero formal recognition of your effort or earned expertise

my first and it’s a bit wonky. Relearned Judy’s Magic CO for 156 sts in round on magic loop. Oof. Practiced around 800 til smooth motion but they want to not catch, slip off when adjust for full tips - counts wrong, twist. Last time it was around 10 for toe up sock. Dt in alt

This is going to become a very big issue because Covid infections cause immune dysregulation. Large swathes of population are latent TB carriers and when immune damage occurs this opens a gateway.

After much saving and planning, I got to spend 10 days in Ireland over the Thanksgiving holiday. I saw family; I saw the long room at Trinity (library nirvana); I got to eat tremendous food and drink so much good tea; I bought yarn. I walked miles every day, and my brain is so quiet. What a gift.
