It’s nice of him to “share his spotlight” with you. ?!??!

It's by no means the worst that he's done or is doing, but the Trump administration illegally killing an important scientific project I've worked on for incredibly petty reasons is anger inducing. So much hard work by so many people ended because America is run by the corrupt and the gutless.

Fair point. When I send invoices for freelance pieces, I'm often asked to include whether I prefer to be paid through direct deposit, a paper check, or cold hard cash in a Cava bag at a pre-arranged drop site.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Did Tom Homan give the $50,000 back?

VANCE: He did not take a bribe. It's a ridiculous smear

STEPHANOPOULOS: You didn't answer the question

VANCE: Did he accept $50,000? I'm sure that in the course of Homan's life, he's been paid more than $50k for services.

(So, no, he didn't)

The 5 year old told me she saw some small flies go into a hole at the back of the cupboard under the stairs and I should go in and have a look, so I crawled in and she's shut and bolted to door behind me. I have about 5 hours of battery life and the BBC iPlayer installed. More fool her.

GenAI truly was the worst technology to come along at this moment.

An energy and water guzzler when we most urgently need to take climate action.

A disinformation machine as our journalism fails.

A bias machine as fascism takes root.

A job killer in a cost of living crisis.

The "cognitive decline and brain damage from repeat COVID infections" and "easy to use robot that makes slop and melts your critical thinking skills" is a hell of a combo in a post-fact media ecosystem

If “exceptional” means killing at least 66,000 people, yeah.

Jared Kushner in Tel Aviv: "Instead of replicating the barbarism of the enemy, you chose to be exceptional, you chose to stand for the values that you stand for, and I couldn't be prouder to be a friend of Israel."

The high-ups are insulated from any effects. Once you have a billion in a trust somewhere, you simply can’t run out of personal wealth. The extremely rich people I’ve know are quite normal. They don’t live like Bond villians, which is why they got so rich in the first place.

I will say this: money doesn’t buy happiness, it just buys you different problems to be unhappy about.

Oh yes, but he was right at the time: they acquired Chrysler and now sell loads of Jeeps in the US and elsewhere. Having a bigger piece of a smaller pie is the goal in a crash.

after millions of views and shares of my Portland Frog art. (thank you all🙏🏾) I got requests to highlight priests, and chickens, and Chicagoans, and T-Rexes, and more… all of us who refuse to bend the knee. so this is for US.

Spoke to somebody very high up in FIAT as the effects of the 2008 crash started to affect the car industry. “What does all this mean for you?” I asked. “It’s an opportunity”, he said. Same with AI; Altman wants the bubble to burst so he can harvest what’s left.

Sen. Roger Marshall: "October 18 is when the protest gets here. This will be a Soros paid-for protest for his professional protesters. The agitators show up. We'll have to get the National Guard out. Hopefully it will be peaceful. I doubt it."

Free from Desire: I’m not a dance music fan, but my 90s/noughties clubbing days spawned dozens of anthems better than that. It wouldn’t make a top 50 compilation of that era. Na na na na na na na, na na. What a set of lyrics though, right? Christ.

Sweet Caroline: did any of you wonder who Caroline was? According to Neil Diamond, it’s about JFK’s daughter, who was 11 years old when the lyrics were written. “Touching me, touching you” hits different in that context.

We need to talk about the truly terrible songs currently used at the end of sports events. Sweet Caroline and that one about Trombone Police (Free From Desire?!), I’m looking at you 1/3.

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."
