I've watched it drastically degrade our young people's ability to read and write, from kindergarten up to the college level, just in a few years. This is a bigger health crisis than smoking. Period.
Having brain-killing LLM slop forced upon you is a human rights violation, and you should say so with your whole chest. This technology kills people's cognitive skills, and I will not have that violence done to me without a fight.

I've been recovering from bottom surgery and making little OSR games to pass the time. I've made 7 or 8 so far, I think -- hacks of Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Into the Odd, etc. Today's is original, and made entirely of words of one syllable.

My nieces and nephews could not comprehend how I could draw, how I was drawing something right in front of them. This sucks.

I love to see stuff like this because it helps explain to people trapped in tech-sponsored information bubbles the actually obvious fact that universities teach people to know & think things, and AI is a way to produce the effect of knowing & thinking things w/o actually knowing & thinking them.
