Sophy Ridge to someone from Trussell: "Can I just ask, demand for food banks is going up and this is often seen as a negative thing basically, that it shows that more people are in need turning to food banks. Could you flip that and say its a good thing..."

er, no.

The team whose honour Britain’s largest political parties and newspapers just spent weeks screaming abuse at *the police* to protect, just while we’re talking about our politics as maybe the world’s most insulting, disastrous and idiotic.

It is understood that the sanction relates to anti-Arab chanting by Maccabi fans.

Obvs. not having the money to heat your home is one thing but I find comfortably-off people don't understand, can't or won't heat their houses.

The clever-clever idea of making a transfer permanent contingent on appearances has led to Aston Villa paying monies for someone they are not playing and Liverpool unlikely to get the envisaged transfer fee.

Both clubs are to blame, for both sides needed to agree this.

Daft.

Why we need to tax the super rich more.

Their wealth is growing MUCH faster than everyone else's.

And they're using it to outbid you for real resources: housing, assets, healthcare, education and everything else of real value.

Hello, I’m Keir Starmer and I’m a former human rights lawyer, so you can trust me when I tell you human rights are bad and need to be eradicated

Ridiculous, of course.
The thing I still can't forgive Corbyn for is the generational harm he caused by enabling Brexit. When Starmer is gone, hopefully soon, I will feel the same way about the profound harm he has caused by making it palatable for the Far Right to ditch human rights norms. It will be his shameful legacy.

Once I stayed up all night drawing actual illustrations for a spot that ran nationally on short notice and I would like to tell the people who “hardly slept” because they were “writing prompts” that they are soft pathetic babies who can go to baby hell.
McDonald's has released an AI-generated Christmas ad

The studio behind it says they 'hardly slept' for several weeks while writing AI prompts and refining the shots — 'AI didn't make this film. We did'

Anyway, I don't think Boris Johnson bullshitting the voters on his nonexistent Brexit deal is the same level of lie as Corbyn saying "sure I see the Queen's Speech" but then I'm not a stupid fucking cunt.

The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

Ian Austin was a Labour MP who spent the years 2015-19 furiously campaigning against his own party's leader because of alleged concerns about antisemitism. When his party lost the election, Boris Johnson made him a Lord. These are all plain facts and it's up to you what you do with them.
Absolutely insane here, like lecturing people for not recognising the decency and liberalism of Milosevic’s Serbia, yet somehow much, much worse, dumber and more insulting. You cannot big up a record of inclusion if you are destroying your subject underclass of people who have no rights.
